it actually is all about him

during the last cycle and after, i said numerous times if it was an actual movement and not a cult he would have been grooming a younger version of himself to run this cycle. but here we are, with bernie about to be 4 years older, still looking for the limelight and his supporters beholden only to him and not the ideals he is supposed to represent

thats why i said passive aggressively. he tries to take subtle pot shots at warren through tweets instead of just blathering it out like hogan. its all good though, thats his boy
Bernie even was getting called out on his shyt by BARNEY FRANK and RALPH NADER(!)

that’s insane.

Dude has always been a narcissistic aggravating selfish dude.

I agree with him on a lot. I can’t keep repeating this. My problem is just...him. And his supporters. They don’t really know shyt and the few that do are hung up on thin nuances that mask the utterly toxic views of his majority of supporters.

and when there weren’t any real progressive options it seemed he was everyone’s last hope. Progressives could ignore his faults and defend his eccentric tendencies and views.

now we have a superior option with a fraction of the flaws legislatively, intellectually and emotionally.

I will always appreciate his contributions to the left, but now we need an effective leader who can move in the halls of power. That’s not sanders.

sanders is a protest leader. Now we need a political leader.

Always an excuse or conspiracy with these clowns. I've been looking forward to the primaries for 4 years specifically because of this. Sanders benefited from being the only underdog/anti-front runner in the race, which inevitably led to large support. But in a contracted primary process with an activated, energetic democrat base there's no way he does that well.

When Biden falls, Warren is almost certainly going to benefit. Whoever rises will do so because the black vote shifted to them. And traditionally the black vote shifts to whoever starts winning early. The minute Kerry won a primary, black vote shifted. The minute Obama won Iowa, the black vote shifted. I had hoped that someone like Beto would be the benefactor of the inevitable Biden fall but that ain't happening. And I don't really see it being Pete either. It's gonna be Warren.
