I know people here aren’t fans of Biden but he is the key to beat Trump. He relates to those Midwest rust belt cacs in Pennsylvania, Ohio,Michigan and Winsconsin. Dems have to take back PA, Michigan and Winsonsin to win because Trump already got Florida, North Carolina, Arizona and maybe Ohio on lock. It’s gonna be a very close election. Elizabeth Warren I love her will turn off the white rust belt Cacs who will see her as a Northeast big city Democrat that loves immigrants and will take their guns. The frontlines this election is the Midwest. And Biden relates to them.

Conventional thinking tells us this.

Sanders can win in the Midwest. Polling this cycle and last cycle tell us this. The same polls showing Biden beating Trump in the Midwest show Sanders doing it too. Sanders also has more donors from Obama-Obama-Trump counties than anyone running including Biden who has Obama’s email list!

I believe Warren can win there too. She’s invested a lot on the ground and can make her case. Of course she doesn’t lead Trump by the margins of Biden or Bernie. But she is rising slowly.

There’s legit questions on Biden holding up. His campaign is freaking out every time he opens his mouth.

Polls should be ignored the entire election. Nobody in here that keep posting polls learned from 2016.

If that's true, why is the media desperately pushing Warren while trying to pretend Bernie doesn't even exist? :stopitslime:

Column: Elizabeth Warren just proved she's the best candidate. Get out of her way

:mjlol:They're trying "IT'S HER TURN" again.

Maybe it is the women thing, i dunno. Policy wise her n Bernie on the same pge for the most part. I also think thats why they dont attack each other like other candidates cuz itd look like some

Im okay with Bernie or Warren. Or Castro but it aint lookin like he got a shot. Yang seem decent too but it looks like they tryin to sideline him.

I’m afraid if Bernie or Liz win it will be a repeat of Stacey Abrahams and Beto where they excite the young ppl and get new voters signed up but they still can’t win.

Whereas if you look at the people who won in 2018 in swing districts, they were more moderate like Conor Lamb etc.

Biden is washed but he can win. I don’t think there’s enough young and black voters to overcome the midwestern/Pa old cacs who would vote for Trump because of Liz or Bernie. And Hispanics can’t be counted on, a decent amount of them vote R

Older Dem primary voters, the ones who always turnout do not like the Castro yelling at Biden.

They value style and decorum.

It’s one reason why they hate Bernie Sanders.

And notice I said older Dem primary voters.
theres a lot of legitimate reasons to dislike Bernie. dont act like this is high on that list

It’s a little different though.

Remember, its not like Trump won by 10 points. He won by slim as fukk margins in those states in 2016. And then the next election, 2018, those states went back blue via statewide elections across the board.

Bernie and Warren have a better messaging on things like trade, rebuilding the union movement...

Warren is stronger in the mid west than Bernie was in 2016...

Someone needed to say that shyt. Biden is old as fukk and has been sundowning like a motherfukker. Out here calling Theresa May Margaret Thatcher and shyt. No one is saying be mean for no reason like Trump, but Biden's mental facilities are declining exponentially, and that is going to be one hell of a liability come the general election. How excited do you think voters will be to turn out for a drooling motherfukker who can't tell you what year it is? Gonna be even worse turnout than Hillary. Castro nutted up and did what needed to be done. :francis:

Honestly I think this is generally true. The vocal opposition makes themselves seem way more influential than they really might be:

I mean twitter keeps a lot of these people in line and sometimes it hurts legitimate candidates.

:why:

Trump won by the slimmest of margins, and to a uniquely shytty candidate! So unless you think he's become wildly more popular since 2016, I don't understand this guarded, fearful stance like he's fukkin Thanos or something.
