You’re trolling. Bernie was never ahead of Biden. That same poll shows Biden was ahead even before he declared. What happened was that Bernie lost some of his share as other candidates had bumps and he’s returning to his original share of the voters. Warren, on the other hand has had an astronomic rise. There is a clear top 3 right now.

Nah, not trolling, I remembered Bernie leading in polls before Biden entered the race. Alright but you just said something different? Yeah, Warren is doing really well compared to people like Bernie and Biden who have national and international name recognition.

Basically the difference between her and Bernie is she knows how to play politics behind the scenes. Hillary was a master of closed door politics, but was bad in front the mic (Biden is too). Bernie was/is great in front the mic but can’t play nice with the party behind the scenes.

This article states that Warren is saying she can do both and signaling to party insiders she is good for business when it taking care of them (and the DNC). It even mentions how Obama fukked the DNC over by creating “Organizing for America” and Bernie not sharing his donor Data. Warren is indicating she isn’t trying to change the small scale Democratic Party.

It’s nothing bad it’s basically her saying she doesn’t want to get caught up trying to destroy the DNC.

Yup. She’s not trying to have a parallel organization to the DNC.

In some ways, that’s great. Obama should have done that.

Cause the DNC during Obama’s tenure as POTUS went to shid with the consulting class on the coasts eating good and the state parties starving.

How is this article bad for Warren?

But Ms. Warren did not attend the event just to recite her stump speech. She had another, more tailored message for the Democratic check writers, state party leaders and committee members who were gathered at the elegant Fairmont San Francisco.

“Last year, I was running for re-election, but I didn’t hold back,” she said, reminding attendees that in the midterms she had helped more than 160 congressional candidates and nearly 20 hopefuls in governors’ races. “In fact, I raised or gave more than $11 million helping get Democrats elected up and down the ballot around the country” and “sent contributions to all 50 state parties, the national committees and the redistricting fight.”

Her point was easy to grasp: While her liberal agenda may be further left than some in the Democratic establishment would prefer, she is a team player who is seeking to lead the party — not stage a hostile takeover of it.

Stuff like this is what's going to get Bernie in trouble at the convention. Hillary raised a shytload of money for the DNC which is why the establishment stuck by her. Nobody should be surprised by this anymore.

Turned into “Organizing for America/Action” and didn’t do crap till 2012 and then poof ain’t doing much now
Left Wisconsin and Michigan to die. And we got the tea party and red state legislatures. No reason why states like that should have been dominated by tge republicans throughout the 2010s.
Obama vs. Clinton did not in 2008
I'll admit not everyone. My parents held on to Clinton until the bitter end. They really thought Obama would catch a bullet or something.

It’s not. But the issue with that is that many Democrats runaway from Bernie and Warren so they can’t actually go out and fundraise for them. I don’t see any scenario in which they won’t campaign for Democratic candidates. They endorse people all the time. The resistance to Bernie is that a lot of the old guard would have to go whereas Warren has Clinton staffers on her campaign. When you see people on TV that are more pro Warren than Sanders it is because they are more connected to people next to her. Just like Obama came into Congress and took a veteran staff. Warren is playing the behind the scenes game too and Bernie hates retail politics. The latter is his flaw and strength. Sanders has all the activists with him. Warren appeals more to the professional class. It will be interesting to see how they put it all together at the end. Deals will be made. I’ve always felt that Sanders would have to agree to take a more establishment VP or at least someone who they like.
