Well he lied by saying the public is on his side re: abolishing private insurance.
No, he didn’t. But your entire stance is why the Sanders supporters in here questioned whether anyone outside of me and others were really for Warren. Someone who is a true progressive and just thinks she is more feasible wouldn’t be so vehemently against Bernie. You only post about him to further negative Democrat spin. You find polls that shows the majority of Americans favor Medicare For all.

Then you ask about Medicare for all while not eliminating private insurance and the support is much greater. The reason for that is obvious, people are afraid of having no insurance and Biden is playing to that. The honest response would point out that employers change insurance all the time and many would just choose the public option so you’d be on a government plan anyway. Moreover, the entire reason for single payer is that the government comes in as a monopoly and can negotiate lower rates and won’t have things like premiums. A true progressive would be pushing Bernie to further explain this - they wouldn’t take this as evidence that his ideas are untenable. You didn’t learn this from 2016? Moreover, we saw this in 08 when the promise of a public option was dropped. Why would you trust them again?

That's a lot of conjecture from what I actually posted. I said he lied when he said the public is on his side when it comes to medicare for all AND eliminating private insurance. All the polling shows that when you bring up eliminating private insurance, the support the for M4A plummets. I'm not arguing the reason that occurs. It's obvious a lot of people fear that eliminating private insurance means losing their doctors, whom they like. Biden is playing on these fears and it's up to Bernie to combat it. I give Bernie credit for bringing M4A to the forefront the last few years but this is still a very misunderstood topic.

Unlikely. Biden is probably going to win and then lose to Trump as the attacks roll in and young people stay home after Warren and Bernie lose.

If young people stay home then they clearly don’t care that much if trump is prez. I think turn out will be historical either way no matter who is the candidate.

Presidential voter turnout was higher in 2016 than 2012.
Voter Turnout - Fairvote

So it is not accurate to say that 'Low voter turnout is an issue in America and very directly helps people like Trump come into power'. I think everyone should vote but let's go for accuracy.

Low turnout in certain places.

79% black turnout in 2012 in WI goes to 47% in 2016.

The irony is that those fears are what’s happening now. Private insurance has networks and when your employer changes insurers every year or you get a new job with a new plan you may lose your doctor since they may not be in network.

M4A has no networks and the public single payer is paying all providers everywhere. So you never lose your doctor and obviously never have to change plans.

It’s why seniors get excited for turning 65. The financial burden and the fear of losing doctor choice goes away.

Yeah, it’s looking that way. Gonna attack the deficiencies of the Obama admin, the Hunter Biden Ukraine and China shadiness, Joe’s handling of it... its gonna be insufferable next summer

Only works when leftists amplify it.

The reality is leftists should be pushing for a larger coalition in the house and senate. Trump doesn't exists without the tea party and then the freedom caucus.
