@FAH1223 the Sanders campaign is struggling at takeoff. I'm a bit surprised. I always imagined they'd hit the ground running based off of 2016.
I’m agreeeing with this.

The struggle really has more to do with Warren taking away college educated people away from him with her plans. She is laying them out early and with a scholarly tilt despite the fact that they won’t go that way in practice. It makes her the more “serious” candidate. What Sanders did today was embrace his label because it would be slapped on him anyway. Whether that works remains to be seen. He has to fight over a demographic he had naturally last election and she is a woman so they get their woman candidate. If anything he needs to change his slogan to something emphasis his consistency on these issues. He and Warren will say the same thing and then she’ll say this is how I’ll do it. His mantra has been to point out how he was ridiculed in 2016 instead of saying he represents the “silenced majority” to play off an old Reagan and Republican phrase. His other problem is that as an outsider, he will get less access to the best policy wonks.@FAH1223 the Sanders campaign is struggling at takeoff. I'm a bit surprised. You really think Bernie could dissociate with "Socialist" or even distance himself from that title? I don't see that working out.
He’s already made a dem socialism speech before
The campaign seems stuck in 2016.
