What metric are you using to say, "trump is losing the suburbs."?
Bernie is second and in striking distance after two candidates doing as well as Biden dropped out and endorsed him. Biden isn't killing shyt either sir. And Biden's stronghold is where Dems don't have a prayer in the general. 6 of one half dozen of the other situation really. If Bernie doesn't spell promise in the general neither does Biden.

example, in 2016 michigan elects trump. in 2018 they elect a female democrat governor. that governor, of a massively important swing state, just signed on to bidens campaign

So the argument that someone should be winning by a landslide because they have popular policies is weak.
But all you have to do is look at the exit polls this year to see that.
