Going on fox validates them. It gives them credibility they don’t deserve. They’re nothing beyond a fascist white supremacist propaganda network. They should be treated as such, no more credible than infowars. They won’t cover anything with honesty or integrity, so why act as if they will? Let those swing voters watch another network for more honest coverage than fox will give.

What do you mean validate them? They are validated by their audience as a major media player and will continue to do millions of viewers per night and influence elections and policy regardless of whether or not she goes on.

Warren shocked me with this move. As much as she gets into it with Trump, I thought she’d be foaming at the mouth to go on Fox News and shyt on him on his home turf AND have the chance to bring new voters to her cause. This sealed her not getting the nomination. If she scared to go to a mild townhall meeting on Fox News.....what will she do in a debate with Trump? Dems need somebody who not scared to fight Trump, not somebody who ducking.

Sanders not being associated with weak ass Democrat leadership helped his brand. He still caucuses with them and supports their main agendas damn near all the time while trying to push them on certain issues. The only people worth going after on Fox are Obama-Trump voters, and they’re reachable on other mediums/channels. The vast majority of sole Fox News viewers in 2019 are MAGA loyalists, and they’re not worth crafting an outreach policy around. Liz understands that the path to true progressive victory is expanding the coalition by visiting and speaking to racially and economically marginalized communities, not hoping to convert racists on the most pernicious media organization in the country.

And lol at the idea she’s scared or ducking Trump. The depth and viciousness with which Liz just tore up Fox News yet again shows she the only candidate that fully understands the structural problems plaguing American society. Instead of going on Fox for a short-lived PR bump, she went after the head of the beast. She’s not in the business of trading barbs with Trump, she’s looking past him. She’s moving like she’s aiming for bigger and deeper changes to the very foundation of this society.

There can be no progressive revolution with Fox News still playing a central role. If you’re unwilling or unable to articulate the threat Fox News poses because you’re on a quixotic quest to convert some MAGA shytheads, you're not a serious contender. Yet again, Liz takes the lead.
