Roma is more of a directors movie plus the Netflix factor no chance of winning

Black Panther was a comic book so it wasn’t winning

Blackkklansman made was to harsh for cacs

A Star is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody were mediocre

The other movies had no chance

been trying to catch green book for the last few weeks but ended up watching other movies instead

netflix can eat a dikk. 98% of their original content is garbage and they can't play victim then turn around and use their money and influence to stack the cards in their favor with ISPs.

White people committed an act of cultural thievery with that Green Book movie. The real Green Book was about Black people navigating White hatred and terror throughout America, and these White writers made a movie named after that book and focused mostly on White society and giving themselves a slap on the back cause a racist Italian from New York found it in himself to see the humanity in an exceptional Black artist.

Second year were the the supporting actor and actress were both African Americans. Ironically Ali won both of these years.

Seems like Hollywood wants to push Ali to be the next big black star instead of someone like Idris Elba. Interesting
