Feds backhand has, time and time again, crumbled like a two dollar whore when Nadal is putting RPMs on his forehand. Plus, Fed ain't cracking on his serve like he was in early 2016 and 2015 from the looks of it.. If Fed is pushed into long rallies and the match goes too long, I don't see him coming out with it.

It all turned around at a end of tge year tourney in Stuttgart i think. Serena ended up beating Davenport in the final and History changed. She came back that next season and transformed into the GOAT

What kills me about Jennifer is that she had the talent to be no.1. She was worse then than these NFL players out here with her off court problems and then it ruined her. She should be mad, I would be too if I knew I had the talent to beat Serena and I was sitting at home on the couch.

And all the ppl being revisionist over hingis need to hold up, it wasn't pressure or drugs that ended her. With seles and capriati back on tour coupled with the rise of the Williams sistas the game sped up it became more about power and having a great double hand backhand. She had a serious foot injury that didn't help matters either notwithstanding I don't remember hingis being super athletic or powerful she just had a bit of a run with Graff getting on and the likes of conchita martinez, Mary pierce, Sanchez vicario and novotna also being athletically middle aged. Her greatest contemporary was a lumbering head case with confidence issues
