Former NFL linebacker Quentin Groves has died at the age of 32.

Players who played with Groves at Auburn and in the NFL have written on social media this morning that Groves died suddenly. Luke Easterling of USA Today reported that Groves died of a heart attack. Medical tests at the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine revealed that Groves had Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, which causes rapid heartbeats, and he had what was described as a minor heart surgery between the Combine and the draft.

Despite concerns about his heart, the Jaguars chose Groves in the second round of the 2008 draft. He played two years in Jacksonville before he was traded to Oakland, where he played two more years. He then spent time with the Cardinals, Browns, Texans, Titans and Bills. His NFL career ended when Buffalo cut him just before the start of the 2015 regular season.

Groves is survived by his wife and two children.

Wait, wait, wait... the Bears have another prime time game.

I'm convinced the NFL is trolling its fans.

No matter how bad they are, teams in large markets with a history of winning are always gonna get the spotlight due to their popularity. Plus Bears and Packers always play atleast one game in primetime :manny:
