They need more big boards and mocks in there, to make it more interesting, but also more realistic.
Also, he's playing against children.
I don't pay attention to rankings/players/tapes of kids until they're 15-16 at least. The amount of brolic 8th graders I have had pitched to me like "THIS KID GOT NEXT" because he hit puberty in the 6th grade, and everyone else in his league is waiting on armpit hair... fukk man. And now with mixtapes, they frame out the competition, frame out the missed shots...
Nah I'm good. Play against guys who are going to college next year, or play against men.
Nope, he is playing with 17 and 18 year olds. 2nd year he has done it. And i've seen him live plus his stats are available online, he is productive and legit.
I'm sure he is. But in a significant portion of that reel, he's being guarded by kids who are not prospects of any kind, and most of them are under developed.
I'm sure he's playing up, but those clips don't impress.
I'll wait until he's of age, and everyone has caught up. We'll see if he gets any taller, etc. Bully ball 8th graders aren't really moving the needle for me.
But maybe we have different tastes.
He plays in the EYBL.....literally the best league you can play in full of high D1 guys.
He isn't even a bully ball player. He gets separation with his handle and has deep range out to 30 feet.
No one is saying he is a pro due to his height but he obviously is an elite D1 talent even when the other kids his age catch up physically.
Go look at that video again. He is being guarded by 14 year olds through most of it.

I'm not going by "footage." I've seen him live in multiple games against 16-18 year olds.

I also don't care. I made it clear that I was just seeing the footage, here.
And that I don't check for middle schoolers. There's just no reason to.
