I use to fall for the Euro hype before I figured out how to properly evaluate it. Euros tend to have their athleticism overrated and a lot of the things they can execute overseas, they don't have the footspeed or verticality to get away with in the NBA. Especially since the majority of Euro players have slow feet and the ball movement/spacing allows average athletes to look like athletic freaks.

Doncic is clearly skilled but his athleticism looks better than it actually is and he already has a grown mans body...the other kids his age will catch up physically. Most of his shots are catch and shoot, transition buckets, step back 3s and floaters around the rim...you don't really see him being creative with his handle to get to his jumpshot. I like him and think he is a top 5 prospect but people need to be real here....I've heard idiots say he'd go number one this year LOL.

If Doncic were 7'0" and doing those things he'd be going 1st, but at 6'8" he's gonna learn the harsh realities of NBA length and athleticism.

He reminds me a lot of Caris LeVert and Pat McCaw so I'm a fan. Not overly explosive but with his physical tools and handle, I think he will be alright as long as he speeds up the release on his jumper. Going to be a nightmare on the defensive end.

I'm not a big fan of Ball, but I have him right behind Josh at the moment. He's good on paper but doesn't really pass the eye test like Dennis.

People see Balls ceiling as Steve Nash on offense, Jason Kidd on defense. He isn't Russell Westbrook but he is 6'5 and pretty damn athletic.

I like Luka Doncic but I'm not buying the number 1 hype, yet. He looks like he could be Gordon Hayward if he keeps growing as an athlete and ballhandler...but doesn't look like a big time scorer since he rarely gets to his pull-up. Then again, I'm not enamored with the 2018 HS class though Ayton, Porter Jr, Bamba, and Duval are all takes in my mind before Doncic. I might even like Isaac Bonga more than Doncic.

He looks far more talented than Heyward but I am not seeing a dominate NBA superstar.

I don't see it....Hayward has a pull-up and some creativity with his handle plus he can yam on plenty people. He a pretty fukking athletic white boy. I don't see any of that with Doncic.....yet.
