To be fair like @Book the Cook said I don’t think Mike & Marc were super high on him. But I agree with you kinda wild how some said he was the best prospect in years and already he’s down on their mocks.
I haven’t seen the exhibitions but I saw someone say he didn’t look impressive at all in the first one.

Its an exhibition and its meaningless.
Bagley's touch around the rim looked suspect but can't read too much into an early season game given nerves and small sample sizes plus his 3 pt percentage will go a long way in determining his value.
Definitely looked impressive in space, oozes face up potential, and his defense looked as advertised.

He also was playing AAU kids a few months..gotta give him a pass in that regard.
Yeah, all of his shots around the rim were clean and makable. I guess we will see if its an adjustment issue or a touch issue as the season goes on.

His jumper and touch look rough so far. Rougher than i bet some were expecting. He's not as polished as some thought. Still has tons of potential but once people start putting that "best prospect since LeBron" pressure on you, it' hard not to look like a project in comparison.
That's because they're Duke-hating dude-bros and already got egg on their faces for hating on Tatum all season and throughout summer league. Despite any evidence to the contrary, Tatum wasn't a Top 5 pick. They're terrible.
If Marv Bagley were 7 foot EURO hyper-athlete with those hands and that motor, those fukkin idiots would be relentlessly circle-jerking at the very thought of him.
Dotson/Grimes is a perfect compliment then throw in Newman/Moore, and how are are yall going to find the minutes?
