Only reason the Lakers would play fukkfukk smokescreen games is because they have a legit concern that Minnesota would trade back :sas1:

We all know Philly is perfectly content taking BPA at 3rd regardless of what the basketball gods consider to be sin, BUT it puts the Knicks in an even worse situation because otherwise they'd have the highest pick in the draft that could be 'reasonably' attained :leostare: if Minnesota is that confident in Pek and whatever other packages are on the table (and they're bound to be good), and LA believes that info is credible, then it only makes sense that they make plans outside of "1a vs 1b, cant lose"

The T'wolves have NEVER won the #1 pick. There's no incentive either way to trade back.

and Pek is no way relevant to their plans. He might not play again.

Cam Payne climbing up draft boards like Elfrid last year and could go as high as #9. CHA, IND, OKC big on him

this was a pretty good read, too much going on to copy + paste but here's the link

http://www.si.com/nba/2015/05/29/nb...wns-jahlil-okafor-frank-kaminsky-delon-wright

yes good article. I've cooled on Wright a bit after he put up poor athletic scores at the combine but still think he is somewhat underrated. And Hilliard, as well as Derrick Marks are my 2 big deep sleepers. Also i had Justise rated as high as number 2 on my big board but slid him down to number 4 after measured out poorly. He didn't play great for duke until they started using him as a stretch 4, so I'm a little worried in his ability to play the 2 but if he slides to 7-9 range, he will be of great value

I didn't see him enough unfortunately because I thought that Murray St would make the NCAA tournament and when they didn't, i thought he'd wait one more year to enter. However I saw a game and a half in the NIT and he was really impressive

How's Okafor's passing game?

Is he like an Andrew Bynum where if you pass to him in the post, it ain't coming out?

excellent passer out of the double team.

His weaknesses on offense are that he's severely limited out of the paint (not the worst thing for him specifically, but he doesn't have a baseline jumper or elbow jumper or anything like that) and he sucks at the line. Besides that, he's as sure a thing as you can get on offense.

If he was adequate on defense, this isn't a debate. Hell if Dieng didn't forget all about defense and rim protecting, I wouldn't be so vehement about not wanting him.

Im so confused by this the lakers trying to trick minny arguments or smokescreen them :dwillhuh: am I to believe minny is so poorly run and stupid that they'd get duped by the team with the SECOND pick ?!!!! Like oh no the lakers got plans :to: who gives a fukk they pick first . Outside of the Knicks who cares what the lakers do

Like Tre said, he's an excellent passer, there's really no issues with him on offense, he's sound in almost everything except shooting from distance.

You could build an offense around him.

:lupe:

They're in the 2nd spot, what "games" could they possibly be playing?

Philly really really wants Russell. Trade 3rd pick and Noel for the 2nd to make sure they get him.

Not saying that will happen but just an example of how it maybe useful

Hinkie would just take Mudiay, Hezonja or Winslow, he's not about to be on the losing end of a trade like that.
