I heard on recruiting radio yesterday, Al Golden has declared warReply


On FSU, Clemson, LSU, Alabama and any heavy weight program recruiting in s Florida. I know some of you all were laughing at how UM turned in JP at UF. Well, the show I heard yesterday these guys are pretty credible, a little gamecock bias but straight forward when it comes to ACC recruiting. They were spot on when it comes to our recruiting. don't know if they read WC or not but they said FSU would finish in the top 4 possibly #1 but what really surprised me was their report about UM.

They reported that Al Golden and the university has decided to go after FSU, Clemson & Alabama by repeatedly contacting the NCAA and reporting numerous secondary recruiting violations "what they see as violations". Golden and his staff are so nervous with being on probation and losing numerous recruits to FSU and other programs that they've decided to harass the NCAA and flood NCAA offices with what they see as recruiting violations from UF, FSU, Alabama, Clemson and several others schools recruiting heavily in the area. In particular they are really pissed off with Jimbo, Clemson and UF.


These guys also said that the UM coaching staff is desperate when it comes to recruiting they are "ecstatic" to have 5 star bust Jake Heaps coming in because all their QBs on the roster suck.

TIFWIW. But these guys on this show said insiders have told them that a mission of Golden and his staff is not to beat other coaches head to head, but to try and get any school successfully recruiting the area, get the NCAA to investigate and get that program put on probation. They'll be contacting the NCAA for any violation they can come up with.

Winston Dad says Jameis is staying next year.

According to Jeff Sentell of AL.com, Winston’s father, Antonor, says the family plans on Winston getting his degree from Florida State and playing two more football seasons in Tallahassee.

“We want Jameis to succeed with one more year in baseball and two more years in football,” Antonor Winston said. “We’ve never strayed from our plan that he is going to be in college until he gets that degree.”

Antonor Winston projects his son will earn his degree from Florida State in December 2015, which would put him on pace to enter the 2016 NFL Draft if plans don’t change.

I have a hard time not seeing Jameis going into next years draft. But the Winston's of been pretty constitent on this. If I am not mistaken, Jameis him self said something similar just after last season ended. So I guess we will see.

I respect that top 5 OSU schedule sets up real nice for a playoff spot. FSU and Alabama P4P are the most loaded teams in the country I think Bama schedule is pretty cake to be honest compared to the typical schedules.

FSU really has no weaknesses i'm not as worried about the WR opposite Rashad Greene I been hearing good things bout the young boys. I could actually see FSU running the ball a little more this year anyway with as much RB depth and talent on the OL we don't really need Winston to throw for 300-400 yards week to week.

Ya it is a pretty reasonable list. Honestly tho, I think there will be another SEC team. And just going through UCLA,Oregon and Stanford's schedule. Man, the Pac 12 is going to eat each other alive this year.

Mark Richt, Les Miles, Nick Saban, and Steve Spurrier

I have a hard time not seeing Jameis going into next years draft. But the Winston's of been pretty constitent on this. If I am not mistaken, Jameis him self said something similar just after last season ended. So I guess we will.

Thats true,one thing with him though is that i think people overreeacted last year claiming hed be the first pick in the past draft and that hes some once in a decade type talent,hes a very good prospect but he also has some serious flaws i think Mariota is better then him
