I disagree with this.. He's ok. It would take a couple mediocre seasons for him to get on the hot seat. Oregon is a hot name in these recruiting streets and they've been finishing relatively well in comparison to other PAC-12 teams. Who would they get better?

Strong will have 3 years max if OU blows out Strong in his first season(which they should if they're title contenders). The only way Strong gets an extension is if he beats OU 2 out of the next 3 seasons with top 5 finishes and playoff appearances. You're not lying. He's definitely on the hot seat.

I'd say Hoke and Muschamp are tied. If there's some young coach who becomes a hot commodity this year, you'll see others on the hot seat

Weis is about a season away from being fired. No one at that university even cares about the football program. One of us could be HC there and they wouldn't care as long as no one is murdering students

Nah, bruh.. He on it, this season... He's gone if they have another pitiful season.. He needs 5 wins which would be an upgrade from Weis's standard of 1-3 wins per season. He really needs to beat Duke, pick up those gimmie non-con wins and try to pick up wins(reasonable) against WVU, ISU and maybe an upset vs KSU that would definitely save his job. Anything more than that would be a successful season. They are predicted to only have 3 wins this season.

So, what's the latest word on Shannon? Is he gonna be able to play?

1)VA Tech will never get rid of Beamer
2)Richt will be in Athens next season.
3)Pelini has a favorable Big 10 schedule. Beating Miami will do a lot for his job security.
4)I just seen Michigan's schedule.... It's over for Hoke. ND, MSU, PSU & OSU gonna give him that work.
5)Weis needs a miracle to remain at Kansas next season.

Real talk, I want him at OU if the longshot but likely scenario of Mike Stoops getting another HC job(at Michigan perhaps). Mike said privately that he wouldn't leave OU again except if it was for a blue blood program who would put the resources towards football and the program was in a fertile recruiting area. No more Arizona-type gigs for him.
