it wouldn't be that bad if they went to the 8-team format. At least there, the team had a strong season and was also able to beat a legitimate champion on the way to the semis.

It doesn't look like it now but years down the road that will be a main talking point for teams.So and so team has so and so number of Final Four appearances.And as the years go by it will become bigger goal than thinking about winning it all first.I just have a feeling they are going to turn it into basketball.

The Hawaii Exemption, as it’s commonly known, is a rule enacted by the NCAA that allows Division I football teams that play at Hawaii to schedule a 13th regular-season game. The rule also allows the Rainbow Warriors to play an extra game each season.

The addition of the 13th game, usually a home game, means extra revenue for those teams which is used to offset travel costs. But the teams involved are not obligated to schedule the extra game.
