You

realize he's a run option QB and has the ball in his hands every play right.
so why shouldnt he win the heisman again then? :leostare:

If he is responsible for that many TDs. While also just having a killer season. Then why isnt the Heisman winner. You are coming off salty as fukk. Because your reason's hold no weight.

Had more Tackles, tackles for loss, sacks, forced fumbles and pass break ups. All by a significant margin.

The only thing Kendrick did better was have 3 picks. Scooby Wright had a much better season despite having a stupid fukking name

After watching The U part 2 last night, and getting into a conversation with Bomani Jones, it hit me that Nebraska have not won a conference title since 1999. :mindblown:

We were debating when Nebraska's football program died. He claims it was the National title game that year, but for me it was 62-36 in Boulder. But they have not won a conference title since 1999. NEBRASKA. :damn:

Texas only has 1 conference title since 2005, but ppl on here stay acting like they're top of the crop. :sas2:

OU has 5 in that same time frame :manny:

I gotta hold on to something after this season :mjcry:

Brehs, I got a question about the Playoff and how and why the revenue is distributed the way it is. Not sure if it's been discussed in here or not. So, apologies -

Firstly, why is it set up so that an entire conference benefits from one of their teams making it? What exactly is the rationale there?

My question is about how this arrangement can possible affect how a certain conference might "fix" things in their favor to ensure their biggest payout.

Take, for example, a team that's 11-1 or 12-0 and on the verge of being selected for a playoff spot. When that team is playing in their conference championship game against another team with no chance to make the playoff, what's to stop these two teams from colluding and making sure the team with a chance to go to the playoffs makes it in? Each conference receives an additional $6million for each team that makes it to the playoff. This seems like an easy recipe for collusion, no?

What do you guys think?

They have been revenue sharing like that for a while so it's not really new. Even with the BCS game the participating got a larger share of the payout but most of it went into the general pool.

I see that - so doesn't the point still stand? The conference would really want the other team to fall back.

it's kinda why I don't see how Wisky lost 59-0 when they avg'd 40 ppg....just doesn't add up to me....the only true winner out of this is ND who doesn't have to share any revenue and gets $6 mil regardless if they make it or not....i need their lawyers to negotiate my next prenup
