alabama is the randy orton of football :camby: boring and uncompelling, simplistic everything

they just spend the most to have the most recruits, that system doesnt work when the talent isnt there :pacspit: just like it didnt when FSU wasnt recruiting well, and now that Craig is gone :ahh:

lol...that 'boring' football works....all that fancy shyt is cool and exciting to watch for parts of the game, but when it's time to line up and get a 1yd, a lot of those fancy offensive teams cant do it...i'd rather have the 'boring' team that can always get me that yd...

Exactly, "boring" football wins titles, hell look at the NBA too, the "boring" Spurs have consistently had the best record in the WC.

again: why is Robert smith demanding a statement from Winston himself to get his Heisman vote?...he wasn't forth coming with his alkie problems until after the fact, so he needs to just shut the fukk up...all it seems like is they want a statement so if something comes out later they can point back to it and say he lied....

you say game manager like it's a bad thing, it's not, that's what you want your qb....

as for johnny, he has a damn good case for Heisman....still think jameis is ahead of him though
When did I say it was a bad thing? Its obviously working. The point is that I don't think McCarron is dynamic enough to be considered of the top players in CFB, period.

Running the ball 60 times a games isn't really compelling either, I see what y'all doing too, when y'all running 60 times against UT, I thought about our game against GaSouthern in 2011, not gonna work this time
Please, everyone loves watching Malzahn's offense. It is a thing of beauty and power when run correctly. :blessed:

According to a report by Travis Haney ofESPN.com, the Trojans could be prepared to cut a $6 million contract to their next head coach. While profiling Texas A&M head coachKevin Sumlin as a potential coaching candidate for USC’s vacant position, Haney reports USC Athletics Director Pat Haden and the university are ready to make their next head coach among the highest paid in the game. Per ESPN.com:

How serious are the Trojans? One industry source told me this week that USC is willing to extend an offer of up to $6 million a year to get its man. Yes, that’s more than Nick Saban makes (for now).

“This hire means that much to them,” the source said. “There’s only one USC. I talk to a lot of people who have worked there and they say it’s the best place they’ve ever coached.”

This year should be no different with what looks to be another excellent 30 for 30 about notable college football figures planned for Saturday night after the Heisman Trophy ceremony. This time, it's the story of two former Ohio State Buckeyes - Maurice Clarett and Jim Tressel. (Side note: thanks ESPN for listening to us.)

The film Youngstown Boys will follow the journeys of both men from the blue-collar northeast Ohio city to the state capital, following their successes and downfalls. What's perhaps most exciting about the project is the return of directors Jeff and Michael Zimbalist, who produced arguably the best 30 for 30 to date, The Two Escobars. From ESPN...
