Mack and UT owe everything to Vince. He won us a title DESPITE Mack and Greg

I think the real cfb heads already know this. Vince carried that program for an entire off-season after that Mich game, and then the next season to the title.

On another note, Bob Stoops still has not won a national title with his own players. He won with Blakes guys.

Ok, guys... I'm here and calm...... because I was getting ready to lose it....

I didn't think Trevor Knight would have that long of a leash.... I assume if he didn't get it going by the second quarter, Stoops would put in Bell..... Well, we got the lead despite him throwing poorly again and Stoops still let him play... Half-time came and I was like... Ok, Bell is coming in the third quarter.... No Bell..... Stoops let this dude commit 3 TO's.... all of his fault... and almost cost us the game because our defense was getting gassed and Holgorson was getting ready to break our defense. Heupel did call a piss poor game but it was compounded by the fact that Knight couldn't make routine throws so Heupel lost confidence in him. VW knew that we had abandoned the pass and loaded the box..... Stoops waited until we was about to lose the game to put Bell in to secure win. Defense was good. O-Line was a little mediocre but got the job done after WV's defense was gassed. Although we won, we took so many L's tonight..... We lost most of our secondary depth and a starting OT, a position we don't have depth in because our other starting OT was kicked off the team....... No damn QB but all these damn receivers.... May lose our WR commits if we cannot fix the passing game this season.

I'm scared s**tless to see this team against a team with a competent QB that plays D as well as we do..... Blowout..... Getting ready to be a long season.

You shoud know by now Stoops and our coaching staff are hard-headed....we dont even make halftime adjustments so you should KNOW we're not gonna make a QB change. Our playcalling is f'N AWFUL. AWFUL. We have all this talent and the entire game all we saw was prety much Clay and Jalen Saunders. Trey Millard gets little burn,none of our other WR's were featured much. Heupul needs to GO....we need a real O-coordinator. Watch these SEC teams play...watch how A&M plays. These teams find a way to use all of their talent and don't try to get too cute with things.

It's clear that Trevor Knight, at this point at least, is a great practice player but not in-game. He doesnt look confident out there, but more like a robot. And now he's shook mentally, so.... Meanwhile, you saw when Bell came out, the WHOLE mood shifted. And all he did was just hand the ball off, but the mood was different.....that kinda pissed me off tho. Why put him in to embarrass him like that and not let him throw?

We've tried for years to be a jack of all trades, but yet remain a master of none.

And truth be told, our defense did play well.....but WV QB just threw some bad passes to guys that were wide open. They catch those passes and it's a whle different outcome.


EDIT: also, one more thing that burns me up is our QB's aren't taught to read covereages. They go out there with a pre-determined WR target for a particular play and if that dude cant get open, then they're scrwed. You see the WV quarterback? He was looking all around the field....and although he made some short throws, he still knows how to read coverage and if things break down he can still complete a pass

Yeah its hard to slander a guy like Stoops or Richt because while they may not be great at winning big games, they are just so damn consistent.
