I went in 2010 as well... got there at 2 am had $5 parking right infront of city hall
walked to dennys on mission, came back, same parking lot was like $50 
cause they changed the sign a little after we left 
But my work transferred someone, and the store of the other person who supposed to transferred here said he cant transfer till nov 1st so now we are short staffed already I cant call in sick because of this
I might slide someone $100 to trade days off though 1.5 million people there at the parade in 2010, I think this year it gets to 2 million

I was reading the ESPN World Series predictions after @Busby's post & found the 2010 set, too.
Of the small # to pick SF to win either Series, Jim Caple was the only expert to correctly pick the Giants both times

eh 4 years a bit too much time imo. pretty expensive too.
Id thought brown would get here earlier tbh but Im cool with pagan, he seemed happy here and he can produce as a leadoff hitter

now the more I think about it, the more ok I am with the $. russell martin got 9mil/year for fukks sake. bj got 5 years with 15 per. 4 years for a 31 year old might be a bit too much tho, but I guess he got an extra year for the WS ring

These are like the Sanchez/Huff deals after the other WS, almost like backpay-thanks = slight overpay for both.
Greater chance of these contracts actually being ok and it basically replaces the Sanchez/Rowand contracts that are finally off the books.
The Huff/Wilson/Melky money coming off should cover the Posey/Hunter arbitration.
We have like 40M combined coming off the books next year from Zito/Timmy, so financially we're in a really good space to make prudent offers to a new corner OF (low ball swisher? low ball hamilton?) this year, or just outright splurge next year.

I'm cool with both deals. For Pagan I thought it was a little much but that's kind of what the market is and there was really no other reasonable option. Plus he seems like he is cool in the clubhouse and everyone likes him. Scutaro I'm cool with. We wouldn't have been champs without him and I think a little reward money is alright.

I am cool with both deals, I hope Scoot isn't a classic giants contract - but I like that we are bring back players and hopefully Gary Brown can get the bigs finally and maybe Pill can find his way back as pinch hitter.
