This year again, there's alabama, lsu, and everyone else. fukk it but its true. Lsu might slip up but I don't see it. Bama is nuts.

Michigan and michigan state might both finish 11-1 going into conference title games...which case msu is fukked :smugfavre:

Don't sleep on FSU ED G that FSU defensive line gonna do work and could hold it's own vs Bama and LSU offenses. As long as the FSU OL keeps getting better and opens up a run game FSU has the players to beat those squads.

No. They'll lose two games in the next 6 weeks.

I didnt realize UT Georgia is a big rivalry thought Florida was both schools biggest trvials

Florida, UGA, and Tennessee have always traditionally screwed each other.

In the 90s and early 00s, the winner of the Florida-Tennessee game went on to represent the SEC East in the SEC Championship. It was the game that decided the SEC East most years.

Tennessee and UGA have fought it out on the years that Florida was so-so to get to Atlanta. For instance, in 2007 when UGA was undefeated and Tennessee beat them to keep UGA out of Atlanta and away from the National Championship. UGA went on to the Sugar Bowl where they slaughtered Hawaii while UT went to Atlanta and got beat by LSU in the SEC CG.

UF, UT, and UGA are traditionally the heavyweights in the SEC East duking it out for a trip to ATL for the SEC Championship.

Florida-Georgia is a much bigger rivalry than Florida-Tennessee which is a much bigger rivalry than Tennessee-Georgia

I'd say that Tennessee's biggest rival is Alabama, but because of the reasons I stated above, it's coming around to be Florida, strictly off of SEC Championship implications.

I agree

LSU and Bama are NFL Jr and the rest of the nation is playing catch up. I think a team like USC could be competitive but they just stroll through the season. It's no secret that the football culture at USC is not coming close to a place like Bama or LSU. For that reason, I think they sleep-walk most of the season and don't look as strong.

I like a rarely challenged USC later in the season vs a dinged up SEC team like Bama or LSU though. It's hard to make it through SEC competition unscathed.

I do like Michigan State a lot though, and I'm not giving up on Michigan getting their feet under them and punching a lot of teams in the mouth.

FSU DL is sick and probably deeper than any other DL in the nation, but Bama's OL would still be able to keep up with them. That Bama OL is disgustingly loaded.

Same thing with LSU's lines. They've got big boys on both sides of the ball and that LSU D has two better DL, just not as deep.

In my mind, the only teams that are competing for a NC trip at this point are...

AP Top 25
RK TEAM RECORD PTS
1 Alabama (48) 1-0 1486
2 USC (8) 1-0 1414
3 LSU (4) 1-0 1404
4 Oregon 1-0 1299
5 Oklahoma 1-0 1160
5 Florida State 1-0 1160
7 Georgia 1-0 1155
8 South Carolina 1-0 1025
9 West Virginia 1-0 1017
10 Michigan State 1-0 995
11 Clemson 1-0 868
12 Ohio State 1-0 772
13 Virginia Tech 1-0 734
14 Texas 1-0 716
15 Kansas State 1-0 714
16 TCU 0-0 542
17 Michigan 0-1 429
18 Florida 1-0 427
19 Louisville 1-0 316
20 Notre Dame 1-0 310
21 Stanford 1-0 260
22 UCLA 1-0 250
23 Tennessee 1-0 177
24 Arizona 1-0 149
25 Brigham Young 1-0 110

I think LSU and Bama are clear cut favorites in the SEC and National scene.

USC and Oregon are far and away the best teams in the Pac12. UCLA isn't going to sneak up on either of them.

I think that WVU can easily compete with OU, Texas, and Oklahoma State. I think they're a great fit in that conference and I think that OU has come out FLAT this season.

Honestly, I don't see the BigXII or Big Ten being represented in the National Championship this year. Not with the way their "best" teams are playing. I can't count out WVU, and OU could wake up.

I think it will be a USC/Oregon v LSU/Bama party.
