first off you cant just trade guys who making 12-14 milly for draft picks. other compensation has to be there

2. maybe in another draft class will teams be willing to just part with picks, not this one.
Didn't the Bucks trade their pick and Maggette for Stack Jack? Deng is better than any wing player in this draft. And a team with alot of cap space like the Blazers could easily add 12-14 mill of salary and trade a few existing contracts for a second round pick to get more space.

you only agreeing with me fam, im saying you cant just trade those contracts for draft picks, its other players that have to be involved and thats where it gets tricky.

there is a thin line between risky and over reacting. i always fear that with our fanbase we might push our front office so much that we end up making 1 too many moves that blow up in our face. now we are no longer a team that gets the 1 seed, we become a team that is middle of the pack and cant even crack top 4 in the east anymore.

funny, all I see is "D Rose hurt.....:rip: sucks......waive Boozer" from niccas who was celebrating an early ring all year :what:

You mad??? :shaq:

no, they won the series :obama:

And? Now what? Are teams in the East scared of ya'll when you barely beat a team where Boozer should be the best player? NO one cares about Philly. You know that, right?:usure:

Hampered by salary cap struggles, the Bulls may look to move the mega contracts of Joakim Noah and Luol Deng.

Deng is set to earn roughly $14.2 million, while Noah will take in $11.1 million.

“I want to emphasize I have not heard that they plan to do this, this is just my speculation,” Johnson said. “Joakim, clearly of the core, has the most value, given that his salary is the lowest and he’s also the most effective player. Deng might have a little bit of value to the right team, especially because he has less years on his deal.

The Bulls have the option to get out of the last year of the contracts of Kyle Korver, Ronnie Brewer and C.J. Johnson. Still, without moving one of the larger contracts, the Bulls will have a tough time filling out their roster under the salary cap.

“The point being, you’re not going to get much by just going out and shopping those expiring contracts in Watson, Brewer and Korver, unless it’s a team that is just desperate to get off money,” Johnson said. “You might have to think bigger and entice the deal with a guy like Noah and see what that could get you.”

Once in a great while I get fed something from my well-connected pal. I will throw this out there, and thought this was interesting because this comes from the Rose side, yet paints him in an impulsive light:

apparently the Bulls wanted Derrick to take an additional week off after recovering from (I believe) his Minnesota injury, but he basically fought it and fought it insisting "I can play, put me out there".

And the Bulls basically ceded to his wishes. The way it was put to me, this was not at all Thibs rushing him back. Thibs was with the company on this one.
