What bench got exposed? The bench that closed games? (Asik and Gibson) The bench with one of your best defenders (Brewer)...the bench with your best shooter (Korver). Asik, Gibson, and Brewer didnt get exposed. We had more starters get exposed than bench mob players...which is where the issue was.

we placed no reliable scorers on the team.

we will be left for old azz rip who could trip on his own feet and be out for half the season, deng with 1 good hand and boozer the jump shooter to carry the scoring load for us, sprinkled with some guys who could hit some outside shots.

only thing that saves us is we have to pray jimmy bulter turns a corner and legitimately challenge for the starting 2 guard spot and taj becomes so good he gets boozer on the bench for most of the game. past that, we will probably still make the playoffs cause of thibs coaching but his going to be a rough season

those killing stacy king need to relax, cause he will probably be the only bright spot in watching a bulls game this season.

I dont mind them breaking up the bench mob, they were there just for defense. Thibs could have any combination of players on the court and still have a good defense. The bench need scoring and hopefully Belinelli helps and Jimmy Butler can do what he did in the summer league into the regular season

"Bench mob"+ deng and boozer couldn't even get the bulls out the 1st round vs the worst team in the playoffs

Even with Boozer poor defense the team still had a top defense. Bulls play team defense, they only had 3 players with good 1 on 1 defense

Again what did the bench mob do besides help the win a bunch of meaningless regular season games and beat some teams in the REGULAR season?

They had the fans hyped when they beat miami without rose but crashed and burned when it mattered most

They gonna be average or might even miss the playoffs next year and in summer '14 will have 28 mil in cap space to get some real talent for rose to play with

This team wasn't winning no championship rose's injury will be a blessing in disguise

What were the bulls supposed to do? Trade boozer to who? nobody wants that garbage ass nikka,noah and deng are overvalued by bull fans

Front office being smart next season will be a wash and they not doing anything until rose is 100%

i think thats just all preference

some guys are more entertained with deep basketball analysis and some like me are cool with the color commentating being just that colorful.

as far as basketball knowledge stacy and neil funk are a bit clueless, but they are entertaining as hell when it comes to the actual calling of the games.

i couldnt have gotten through all those bulls games rose was out if it wasnt for stacy king and his slogans.

but nothing wrong with wanting more serious discussion. just preference i guess.

who are the bulls signing in 2014 that is supposed to be impact players that rose can run with to win some rings?

i think most bulls fans understood boozer wasnt getting traded, you hear amnesty more on that option.

if we once again strike out on free agency, what type of players will once again fill our roster out?


its very possible that deng and noah could have been traded on draft night for lottery picks and young talent. both of them have decent trade value.

at his point since we missed that boat on draft night, it makes no sense to tank. should have just maneuvered to get the full MLE, traded korver for that TPE and did what boston has successfully done, grab 2 impact guards to carry scoring til rose returns.

which means if we strike out on bron and wade (again) which is very likely they wont even explore free agency if they win another ring. we will be left to fill our roster out with more jj reddikks and korver type players all over again. dwight will be decided by then, kevin love cant leave til 2015 and even if we do get him, thats our key to a championship?

dirk, pau, pierce are all too old to be pairing with rose talking championship run.

and if we dont get a top 2 pick next draft not making the playoffs would be for nothing.

in conclusion, the 2014 plan is a bunch of bullshyt the front office trying to spin on us to cover the fact they totally jacked up the 2012 plan they told us they had in 2010
