lol at this being the plan
this was the same bullshyt talk they was giving us 2 seasons ago. the plan before was for the organization to remain flexible so that in 2012 they can make the roster potent. thats why all them dudes got 2 year deals. now this same idiot who told us this 2 years ago, is now saying well the plan is for 2014?
and who exactly are we clearing up all this cap space for? didnt garpax learn his lesson before on banking on free agency? first off bron and wade aint going no where. secondly okc aint letting harden walk. 3rd our champion ship hopes are hanging on the signing of kevin love? so if minny puts a team around kevin love, since they are actually making moves, the likelihood is he wont bounce either. so who left that we can sign in 2 years that will turn us totally around? meanwhile 2 more years of rose career goes down the damn drain.
its a very simple equation. when you have a team that posted the best record 2 seasons in a row, you tweak it. you improve on it. these dudes conceded for dollar signs because jerry wants to put more into the white sox. simple as that. profit from the bulls, pay for the white sox.
these dudes played the market wrong, didnt aim at targets, let guys get by them, snoozed on players that could make the team better, totally handled the asik situation wrong and now to make themselves still look intelligent they trying to sell us the 2014 plan? naw not buying it.
Exactly. Even from a business perspective: a championship team makes more than a possible playoff team, simple as that. I'm no one to question a multi- multi-millionaire, but isn't this common sense? Didn't the Bulls make a ton of money through the 90's? Isn't that run a portion of the reason we are still a top NBA team despite no championships in almost 2 decades? Even if we are putting money into the White Sox on some greed/favortism steez, since they won semi-recently, isn't it time to give back to the Bulls? We can't ALL be crazy.
