Thanks Mr Swag but this might be one of the worse seasons comming up in a minute. I doubt we go back to the Brand, Artest, Miller days but it might be bad.

Yeah. They were saying it's absurd to pay asik that Houston money (given he ever officially gets the offer sheet). They were also saying how the FO routinely strikes out in free agency going back to 2000 under Krause up til now with Garpax.

i dont think it has anything to do with him not wanting a player to steal his shine

rose just has a soldier mentality, he will clip up with whoever next to him and go to war.

but as his legacy starts to get placed into perspective and flame outs in the playoffs pile up, rose will start to care about having a winning team around him a lot more

I respect the hell outta his soldier mentality but he has to realize he can't do this by himself he and this stupid ass front office shoulda realized this after the Heat eliminated us last year

i respect it too. and i agree with the latter

my post was a response to another poster saying rose dont want nobody to take his shine

my response was dude just a go to war with whomever type of player. same as jordan was, same as magic was, same as ewing etc. as time passes and rose counterparts start holding up them trophies he will grow tired of just having a team that is only good enough.

but rose def not on some ego trip not wanting to share the stage with someone. he respects the team he has and values his friendships. reason he didnt recruit lebron, cause deng his boy, reason he wont recruit howard cause noah his boy etc.
