if you take the Steve Nash/Dirk Nowitzki best-player-on-the-best-team-criteria, your MVP right now is....

All i know lebron will not be winning mvp this year, the media will vote against whatever he does unless he averaging a triple double.

I think he can win it this year but the voters have shown they have a tendency to want to spread it around.

while all of that is true, i just have a hard time believing that voters would willingly vote for melo over bron and KD.

as far as rose goes, when he won MVP he was a fresh face that the media generally liked. i can't say the same for melo. i hope he can prove me wrong tho

If the Knicks get the top seed you will see nuthugging the likes of which you have never thought possible for Melo. I don't think they would have any problem giving him the MVP.

As the season goes on I expect the following teams to have better records than the Knicks

  • Miami
  • Boston
  • Indiana
  • Brooklyn

Honorable mentions but unlikely

  • Atlanta - They have the size and athleticism to burn the Knicks but absolutely no depth
  • Chicago - pending Rose's status
  • Philadelphia - pending Bynum's status

Before the season started i would have put them in the honorable mentions list too but I am so dissapointed in Cleveland this year. i was really expecting them to start rising with Irving being in his 2nd year and all these good rookies they got. Then again it's only been 8 games.

this a$$hole really said hawks have no depth :dead:

It's gonna be Bron or Durant...........with Kobe and Cp3 with slight chances

Melo is a long shot his fg% would have to be sky high and his numbers would have to be at least near brons

24 7 and 2 and on mid 40's percentage shooting wont cut it, especially with KD upping his assist numbers.
