:what:
I mean..even the biggest Knicks hater on here would tell you that last year's team is extremely :scusthov: compared to this year's team.

Them dudes are a legitimate 55+ win team..and I DESPISE their overconfident hoe ass fans.

But we have to keep this shiit a 100..hopefully for yall Amare wont ruin the early chemistry.

Whats so different about this team tho? Besides adding a bunch of :flabbynsick: bench players and losing Linsanity the gawd

If the Heat get the 1 seed, I don't see how you could give it to anyone but Bron... he's putting up 25, 9, and 7 on 52% without even exerting himself yet, dude is straight coastin right now

They are playing much better defense..which is about 10 more wins automatically..they move the ball a lot more..and they have some guys that can straight up shoot..I think non-ny cats are underrating them.

With leaguepass i get 5 teams to pick. Im sorry Knicks arent in my top five teams to care for

I only saw one game and that was a TNT game.

yet you felt like you saw enough to make a prediction that at least 4-5 teams will finish ahead of them

Carmelo will win if the Knicks finish with a top 3 record in the east

Naw they would have to be the top seed for that to happen since he wasn't really on the radar before the season. The top two candidates coming into the year were Durant and Lebron and it's really gonna come down to either a transcendent performance by one of them or which team has the better record.

i think the knicks have a very good chance to finish #1 in the east but even then i don't see how melo would get MVP

let's be honest- if they didn't give melo ROY over bron then he damn sure ain't getting MVP over bron

ROY is a more individual award than MVP. MVP is almost all about team success and narrative. A top seed in the East, especially when nobody saw it coming would be enough to boost Melo over Bron...see Rose in 2010.

while all of that is true, i just have a hard time believing that voters would willingly vote for melo over bron and KD.

as far as rose goes, when he won MVP he was a fresh face that the media generally liked. i can't say the same for melo. i hope he can prove me wrong tho

IF knicks do get the number one seed, melo will probably get MVP. There is very little chance that happens tho.

All i know lebron will not be winning mvp this year, the media will vote against whatever he does unless he averaging a triple double.

if you take the Steve Nash/Dirk Nowitzki best-player-on-the-best-team-criteria, your MVP right now is....

Don't be so sure about that. The media is clinging to his nuts even harder than ever. It will take a special season from KD or another superstar and thier team in order to keep Bron from winning the MVP.
