Right now I got
1. LeBron James
2. Kevin Durant
3. Carmelo Anthony
4. Chris Paul
5. Tim Duncan

Kobe is really playing well but Lakers of course have been very disappointing, they seem to be getting it together though.

Brandon Jennings and Nicolas Batum are 2 guys that are playing their butts off, might be break out seasons for these 2, especially Batum.

Grizzlies have been the most impressive team all season but they are just solid all around. Their front court has been unbelievable in particular but I don't think any one of the 3 is so outstanding as to be an MVP candidate.

Deron Williams has my nomination for player most likely to be called an MVP candidate but not actually deserve it.

Carmelo will win if the Knicks finish with a top 3 record in the east

As the season goes on I expect the following teams to have better records than the Knicks

  • Miami
  • Boston
  • Indiana
  • Brooklyn

Honorable mentions but unlikely

  • Atlanta - They have the size and athleticism to burn the Knicks but absolutely no depth
  • Chicago - pending Rose's status
  • Philadelphia - pending Bynum's status

Before the season started i would have put them in the honorable mentions list too but I am so dissapointed in Cleveland this year. i was really expecting them to start rising with Irving being in his 2nd year and all these good rookies they got. Then again it's only been 8 games.

Brehsident evil
if Kobe can play like he just did.. not even need to be 22-11-11, make it 22-8-8 and laters score a .700

i would give it to him....

but i am pretty sure melo will get the political vote.

Have You Seen The Nets And Pacers This Season? They Are Just NOT Better Teams Then The Knicks

Im Willing To Give Boston A Pass Cuz They ALWAYS Pick It Up As The Season Goes On But BK And Indy Arent Looking Good Right Now

And Yes I Understand BK Has Won Like 4-5 In A Row But They Are Not An Impressive Team, They Have Blow Big Leads In Literally Every Game And Unless D Will Gets Hot They Have No One To Take Over A Game (Say Joe Johnson And I'll Neg You)

And Im Not Hating, I Know People Are Gonna See My Opinion As Bias But I've REALLY Been Watching The Nets Games And Nothing They Have Done Is Intimidating To Me

The Pacers Are Looking Even Worse, Trash As Offense, Decent Defense, Gonna Be In A Big Hole By The Time Granger Comes Back, Unless You See The Pacers Rattling Off A Few 6-8 Game Winning Streaks They're Gonna Be In The Middel Of The Pack As Far As Seeding Goes

The Way Things Are Going For Indy I Won Be Surprised If ATL Finishes Better Then Them

How do the Hawks have no depth? :what:

Lou Williams
Devin Harris
ZaZa
Anthony Morrow

We got plenty of depth

Let's be honest here dude. Korver and Stevenson are not starting caliber players.

The only reason Williams isnt starting is because the Hawks knew that if they put him in the starting lineup (where he belongs) they'd have just Harris and Morrow to rely on off the bench.
I'll give you Morrow and Harris but Zaza has always been just a big body who hustles. I wouldnt call him a significant contributor. As good as ATL's frontline looks on paper I'm shocked they are such a bad rebounding team.

Another thing look at the players you listed: All guards.

Dont you dare say Ivan Johnson
