:aicmon: cats weren't rocking Iverson jerseys in 99 , Cowboy jerseys and Grant Hill jerseys were still getting play

My bad, pardon self. I must have forgotten that the jersey of the 1999 NBA SCORING CHAMPION collected dust and sat on shelves in malls and stores throughout the country that year.

This entire discussion is laughable. It aint that serious, but you can't sit there with a straight face and actually argue that Iverson jerseys weren't popular in '99. Even taking away the local aspect of me working in Philly that year, going to dozens of shows and events on a weekly basis, or visiting family. Just on a national level, how was the league's top scorer that year a jersey "cats weren't rocking"?? That makes zero sense without me even seeing it myself firsthand.

Except that Iverson didn't lead the league in scoring that year

As I said, this discussion is laughable and not worth continuing. Just because there was a lockout that year doesn't somehow negate individual or team achievements. Spurs still got a ring '99 and Iverson still was the scoring champ with 26.8ppg in '99. But as to not descend this thread any further with this silliness...

2002 also gave us:

Thechosenfew.jpg

Plus a good handful of other nice solid underground albums and singles to bump. It wasn't a stellar year, but it had enough solid shyt drop to not make it forgettable.

Cormega easily had the best album of 2002. True Meaning >>>>>> The Realness, and The Realness arguably was the top album of '01.
