I was just about ready to dap the original post and then I remembered a good number of those albums you listed dropped. But as a whole, '99 was infested with generic "thug" rappers over horrendous casio swizz sounding beats.
Throw a doo-rag and a fitted hat on, oversized Iverson jersey, and an iced out crucifix on and you have the '99 equivalent of rainbow haired mumble rappers. '99 mainstream rap was fukking unlistenable.
