Funnily enough, Jokic would matchup well with Shaq because he has the center of mass to hold his own in the post. Ain't no doubt that Shaq would still get his, but Jokic would prefer having to defend actions in the low post (where his defensive strengths are) than running out to the perimeter all the time where he has defensive limitations.

Conversely, on the other side of the floor, Shaq isn't doing anything to stop Jokic either. He'd get PnR'd to death.

he mixing up luka and jokic countries lol

btw jokic wouldn’t stand a ghost of a chance
Wouldn't stand a ghost of a chance of doing what though?

They'd both be trading buckets.

Why are y'all acting like Shaq would be doing anything to stop him?

What is Shaq doing to someone whose shotmaking ability is greater than any big to play the game? What is Shaq doing to someone whose playmaking ability is greater than any big to play the game?

Truth be told, if they played against each other in a series, it would be more about what their respective complementary support casts would do. And Jokic would have somewhat of an advantage there purely because of how he makes his teammates better. But that could easily be negated by Kobe, who's on another level to someone like Murray.

This is the correct basketball watcher answer. granted I was like 7 when the Lakers had Kobe and Shaq but I don't ever remember him being a perimeter defender or having to deal with a 5 that can shoot like Jok

Jokic is a historically awful defender of the paint / rim . Jokic was in foul trouble almost every game in the 2020 WCF while guarding skinny Anthony Davis :mjlol:

imagine what diesel would do to this cac :mjlol:

Jokic this season is allowing the most points in the paint out of all the centers in the league
