Genuinely hated triple h in 2000 but he just kept on winnin :pacspit: . Was in the best shape of his career(arguably the best physique in wwe history), beat Mankind/Cactus Jack twice, Mchmahon-helmsley era, sonned the rock a couple of times and 2000 was the best version of his theme song.

Stephanie was more over when you start to really examine the reactions in the retrospect but in 2000 he was working with the elite of the field...Rock, Jericho, Benoit, a still motivated Rikishi, a returning Austin..he had everything pretty easy that year but it made sense later because that's when he and Stephanie got together in real life early that year.

every great hero needs a great villein. Him and Vince were it from the past decade.

haters gonna hate :king:

I preferred HHH as a sidekick to the GOAT during the dx stuff. I always felt like he was trying too hard during his solo runs. Dx HHH felt more like he was just doing him. Looking back it was probably because there was a lot of pressure on him at the time.

If you say so.....he only had one decent year as heel. The rest of that shyt were money losers and damn near was a burial of the product. If he wasn't a Rock or Austin opponent, who would care about Cripple H in this day and age? The DX stuff was always secondary to anyone trying to one up Rock or Austin.

acting like you weren't mad at the power trip. Austin sucked as a villein then and Triple H was picking up his slack in that department.

but lol @ the only people who can stand up to them were Kaine and Undertaker.

His heel run from Summerslam 99 to his quad injury in 01 was one of the best heel runs in history.

This. It was when he came back in '02 all boated and shyt that his in-ring work started to decline and he began his ego trip.
