1. a) BO2
1. b) BO3
1. c) MW2 (Original)
2. COD4
3. MW3

BO2, BO3 and MW2 are interchangeable for me as the best.

I didn't really play or get into COD before MW 2019 so I'd not have good answers but from recent ones:

MW 2019
BLOPS 4
MW 2 (2022)
Cold War
Vanguard

I only briefly played Black Ops 1 and 2 when they came out on PS3 but didn't really get deep into COD until BLOPS 4.

Call me crazy, my favorites and why I loved them so much:

Tier 1:
MW3 (Specialist perk)
Infinite Warfare (Merc combat kit and best movement system)

Tier 2:
MW2 (basically the original but better)
MW1 (original)
BO3 (fun overall I guess)

Mw2 (2009) i just didnt fukk with at all. Hated the damn noob tube grenade launchers and killstreaks were oppressive which made the game out of balance.

Im pleasantly surprise some of yall have blops 3 in your top 5. Its truly a great game with the lootboxes being its downfall.

The map pool in MW2 (2009) is probably the best in COD history (Terminal, Highrise, Karachi, Favela, etc). The gunplay was also amazing.
I loved the killed streaks, bodying people with the AC130 and the chopper gunner was :wow:

Part of the reason why people loved MW2 (2009) was because everybody was playing it. It was peak COD in terms of popularity, so everybody had friends playing it. The social aspect was on another level. I still remember playing 6v6 private match SnD among friends.

As ridiculous as it sounds, so many things were overpowered (one man army, noobtubes, danger close, commando pro, chopper gunner, AC130, etc.) that it balanced itself out.

MW2 (2009) might be the most fun I've had in any COD title.

I can see where youre coming from with the social aspect. I played solo online so shyt was rough. I think the only map I enjoyed was rust and afghan.

There has never been better music in call of duty since World at War.

It was dark ominous gritty and just felt like death

In no particular order:
BLOPS2
COD4
Advanced Warfare
BLOPS3
MW2

I know AW is kind of a controversial in the CoD community but I loved it. CoD campaigns are usually always solid with only a few real stinkers but I think AW's is one of the better ones. I loved how chaotic MP was coming from fast paced pc shooters even if it wasn't perfect (loot box weapons). I still think it's the best CoD slegehammer has done, they basically been fukking up or been too vanilla since. I admit it kinda came at weird point in my life too when I was in-between a lot and had shyt going I needed to stay distracted for a bit so I dumped a lot of time into it.

Honorable mention to MW3 but I had put so much time into MW2 & CoD4 it didn't feel like enough had changed to me, like it was MW2.5 and I honestly can't remember or differentiate the campaign from MW2, it all blurred together. Been meaning to go back to that campaign one time quick.

I missed a bunch of the later games started around 2016/2017 (I played 2019 though) but of all the ones I've played the "worst" was probably Ghosts but I still prestiged a couple times and got a little shy of 100 hours into it. It's not as bad as some make it out to be it just feels like some developer that only knows what CoD is on paper tried to make a CoD game. Maps were weird and too big, the event destruction stuff was weird and only the falling skyscraper cool. Probably the slowest CoD game too since the first game back when there was no real meta on PC. Even the graphics and UI felt off. Just a weird game.
