Top 20 album OAT

Shoulda been a star but he got distracted by acting and later with all tha other fukkery

His discography is solid

BOBS is a 10
Ecstatic is a 8
New Danger is a 7 bc its kinda uneven but it is a solid album that tried to break new ground

Thats three above average to great albums...more than 95% of MCs can manage

Classic album

But man, cats be sleeping on Yasiin's albums and it's really all because a lot of cats wanted Black On Both Sides 2

Yasiin get the same kind of flack that Nas get for never dropping another Illmatic. People was stuck on Black On Both Sides, they hardly ever take the time to appreciate his catalog but he continued to evolve as an artist.

The New Danger had some dope songs on there. Songs like Champion Requiem, Zimzallabim, Life is Real, Ghetto Rock, Modern Marvel, Sunshine, The Panties
True Magic had some dope joints too; Dollar Day, Fake Bonanza, There Is a Way, Lifetime, U R The One, Undeniable
And The Ecstatic is a classic in my opinion.

Amazing album :wow:

I still maintain that Mos would've blown up if he released an album in the 2002 time-frame, he was in that zone where he was between underground/backpack and mainstream. Kind of like Kanye with the College Dropout. BOBS went Gold and he would've definitely gotten a push, he has the charisma to be a mainstream artist.
