This is most likely why it appealed to me because by the time this came out i was strictly on fighting games but I still bought it

Seriously thats what I keep asking but it has to be because of rights issues like using all those athletes and the soundtrack. They already made two arcade style NBA Playground games but that shyt is nowhere near as good as the NBA Street series.
I heard of NBA playground but wgen I saw it, it was a hard pass.
thats a shame because you could make a killing with an good arcade game now a days I know 2k tried but...theresvno innovation to 2k they just push stuff out. How much Microtransactions were there?It’s ok as an NBA Jam style game to play with your kids or some shyt but otherwise

All 3 games are classics but this was the best of the best and a top 5 sports/arcade game on the system ( all time even). The vibe, art style, gameplay, music (TROY 
). Were like a perfect recipe. I can't count the hours I put playing with friends family and my oldest son.
