Death Row is like... and at the same time. On one hand, that label was powerful as fukk and had it in a smash when they were on top. But that fall was fast and painful.
But it proves two things:
1- It only takes one corrupt person to drive a billion-dollar company into the ground.
2- Labels can fukk over talent all they want, but when the talent goes, the money goes with 'em. (i.e. Dre & Snoop). Death Row made more money with a handful of artists and like 7 albums between '92-'96, than they made any year after that with a million nikkas on the roster. When the original DR crew started gettin' away from the label, that was it.
