What people fail to realize is lots of people do this. I live in a neighborhood half retired people. They just build close to 50 new homes and the majority of the retired folks walk in these houses. They wanted see the work and sometimes I see stay at home moms taking their kids by to look at the homes and construction trucks. Hell my father in law came by and looked at one of the homes (he wanted to see how the foundation and skeleton of the home was being putting together). None of these people were considered criminals or were ran down to be killed.

Lots of people do. That’s how you learn as well. Seeing the beginning stages of a home being built will show you how it’s done. People considering buying the new build can see if the foundation was laid bad prior to it being covered up by a “finished” home. Curious neighbors do it all the time as well and if you live in a neighborhood then it’s cool to see wth being put up around you. Nothing “dusty” (as you put it) about being curious/inquisitive.

Did it myself in my new neighborhood....went in at least 4 of the new houses and I know neighbors went in mine....
