Attempting a citizens arrest is risky and leaves you open to prosecution and lawsuit. All you need do is fukk up a minor detail.

I can bet right now they are scrambling to make their defense stronger. Trying to manufacture evidence of them witnessing him in a felony. Probably trying to convince one of their good, conservative neighbors to testify that he broke in their home.

I wouldn't put it past some doctored video footage. There's a lot of racist cars in that area who will hate to see "that outstanding, American, family destroyed and legacy lost" by those two going to prison. I expect them to pull out all stops.
