Security clearance is something even ordinary citizens can get it.

Even "top secret" clearance isn't as hard as people think iirc, especially once you join the military. Look at discussion regarding it: many say Top Secret Clearance is actually oversaturated with the amount of people who have it. It's basically the new floor/ground-level.

The information is probably real high-level abstraction rather than low-level specifics.

That's why I was an airdale...boat people stay fukkin up

None of this surprises me BTW. I had a Secret clearance as an AE and as part of my job had access to everything about the bird I worked on. Specs, manuals, reports and maintenance logs going back years, all of it. I'm sure they did too.

A clearance means "the US gov trusts you with this info. We checked as much as we could and you pass the test." Of course the higher in clearance you go the more info they dig up. For my Secret I was only interviewed once, and it was all formal public records shyt. But when I got out I got a job with the Feds and that required a TS/SCI, so I was interviewed 3x. My ex-wife, my mom, my sister, my 5 closest friends, they all got interviewed. Called previous jobs, college, all that shyt. They scraped every inch of my life. It's all lie detector kinda shyt, ask you the same question in different ways to see if you slip, get flustered/nervous, etc.

For trained ops like these PRC plants, those clearance interviews are cakewalks.

definitely plants... easy to get a clearance cause they have unremarkable backgrounds and just enough access to material they can provide to reverse engineering. Know they won't be discriminated against because of our laws..... plus, the average joe doesn't speak chinese or have access to anyone in a position to do any of that.

It’s weird too. Like they’re legit scared of China. What’s also weird is that China doesn’t export culture either so why would it bother them so much to make those movies

Hollywood makes bank in China, I'd wager It's maybe the biggest single market today outside America. Hence my theory that they (Hollywood) are p*ssy footing around putting this stuff on film.. Remember how they spanked the NBA for players speaking up on shyt going on in China? Yeah unfortunately I think because of the vast business interests in China not only what they consume from America like major sports and film but also what they export to America it has the US in a tough spot. Let's not forget the weather balloons China was drifting across borders from the North earlier this year. China is not shy about spying on getting caught.

you’ll never convince me that they weren’t accepted knowing they weren’t being watched from the jump

Just keep running negative news about asians 24/7. It doesn’t matter which stories. People will eventually form a negative association with asians regardless of what is said about them
Exactly. Black people, especially black Americans, need to start playing dirty. All other groups exploit the white-black racial hierarchy to come up. Let's do the same but focus on black empowerment/self-determination while knocking on these group down several pegs.

Espionage is a crazy world where nobody really knows the truth. Yeah, we caught "your" spies all on the news = we're pulling our guy out behind the scenes.

shyt, even the people who think they're the spies are doing the work for the other team they think they're playing against.

If we're being real, the levels below don't really know what the levels up above them are doing.
However, the levels above don't really know what the levels below are really doing either.
At the end of the day bi-directional transparency is a rarity even among the most loyal and trustworthy.
You can see that at basically any company but the military and government are really no different.

:mindblown:
It's like a real-life version of this :heh:

It's also easy to pass screenings when you genuinely believe the story (because you're being played).

It's not that hard to get a clearance. Years ago there was a scandal where USIS was caught doing fake security clearance background checks. I doubt it's gotten that much better.

They started finding out that with a lot of the Sf-86's they were doing, these people have no friends... no employment history, they just be in the house and have nobody to truly vet them.

Was that suspicious to you at all at the time?
absolutely. I couldn't beleive it the sailor was a junior machinst mate ( like the dude accused) but I didn't think she was in a position to know anything.

Same with the Librarian at the Navy base not in a position to know anything but I remember she was a single mother (which I was surprised at() when to undergrad IN China came to the states for an adavanced degree finagled her way into staying and ended up at a kinda random job for someone with her credentials. She low key tried to kick it to me. Which is why I knew all her business she was kinda fly in a weird way and I considered taking the easy lay up but decided against dipping my pen in the company ink. I also had a Top Secret Security Clearance so maybe it wasn't my incrediable game that attracted her to me.

Again I'd be surprised if they were spied but there's a long history of China sending spies as students and then they wiggling their way into government service.

That's another thing I had a security clearance to know basic shyt about ships and there Nuclear propulsion systems I knew how long Subs were in dock even though what they did and where they were were highly classified. I got called into the office for wandering into the wardroom of a docked sub when they had a meeting. My point is I didn't have the nuclear codes so even though I knew not to run my mouth about certain shyt I didn't really think it was that secret.

I took pictures of the inside of a commo shack in Iraq which was a no no even though they had pictures of the same shack right in the battalion building. I lost the camra in Jackson MS. so who ever got that camera has some "secrets". I was too low on the food chain to know what's secret and why. I was told that taking pictures of in the inside of a Tank was secret and anyone can go on youtube and see the inside of tanks and all kinds of information about them.

Shout out the Stinkin Lincoln...spent over a year deployed on that bytch
Beer day after 51 days at sea + boat hoes + night ops + Iran fukkin with us when we transited the strait + Pattaya atrocities, CVN-72 had it all
LOL that's probably close hold information about troop movements that you just posted.

You probably seen the chick in question. I heard about the shytty Kitty but I thought the Linc was a relatively new ship. To me the Tru seemed way more fukked up and the crew's morale seemed worse.
