You can't trust these "hit a shot and do nothing else" players. When they hit their shots they can still give it back on the other end, when they ain't hitting their shots they drag you down. In the regular season they might be good for an occasional run but in the playoffs especially they get exposed in any real game.

As many options as the Lakers have who need to get their minutes I'd honestly let him vegetate on the bench. Need to let Caruso/KCP/Bradley (when he comes back)/Kuzma/Dudley build their chemistry with the core and/or 2nd unit and help Vogel figure out what their playoff rotations will be. Anytime Daniels plays then one of those guys who might actually contribute isn't getting burn.
