They should have been able to keep Hart or 1 pick imo, we were competing with no one for AD. AD and Rich Paul did a great job by pushing every team away, Boston was not going to include Tatum. But we are past that..Pelinka not making any moves during the trade deadline is stupid as hell.This is why you dont trade all assets for 1 guy, especially a guy you can sign in a season.

Trades are a two-way street though, it ain't like he didnt try. Teams just weren't fukking with what he had to offer, and rightfully so. We didnt have much.
We needed to shake things up. I would have done Green and Kuzma for Morris. Green fell the fukk off and Kuz ain't that good. This team ain't better than the Clippers. We needed to roll the dice.

he put all his chips on Collison like he did on Kawhi. I really think he could have made some move for a pg at least. I also don't think the decision to play Rondo is from the coaches, it is from the top. There is no way two NBA coaches who see Rondo play think he is good enough to be out there. Pelinka gave that man a player option

It wasn’t the AD trade that fukked them (though Pelinka did fukk up throwing in assets that he didn’t need to) but everything after the AD trade has been a disaster.This is why you dont trade all assets for 1 guy, especially a guy you can sign in a season.
The AD trade left them with Bron, AD, Kuzma, and cap space. The waiting game with Kawhi completely messed everything up. By the time they had to fill out the roster the cupboard was bare and they had to sign guys like Daniels, Cook, Rondo, Javale, KCP, and a damaged Cousins. If they were aggressive earlier they could have signed Brogdon and minimum guys that are even better than the likes of Daniels and Cook.
