as for the debate, polight obviously won, in the end seti could not point to anything of substance, i think when sutek asked him about buying land in africa he got exposed becuase he had nothing concrete to say and he admitted that he might have to get down with polight about economics

and seti is lying and polight is right about african selling africans, i actually read that book about the slave narrative polight mentioned and have studied about the tribes involved in the slave trade, those tribes were definitely devils

fundamentally, saying the white man is the devil is an emotional outburst, if that is how somebody feels, then they should feel that, nobody has the right to tell you how you should feel, but its not a real plan because there are devils everywhere

the people that came up the concept of the white devil tried and are still trying to align black people with muslims/arabs who are also devils, that tells you a lot

I tried watching the debate earlier and the shyt made absolutely no sense. Outside of arguing, do any of these "conscious movement" cats actually do anything to help the community?

It seems like they're contribution to the black struggle is running their mouths.

its a typical rap battle at the end of the day, i agree i dont know how useful it is but its interesting/entertaining if you understand the characters involved

the background of the beef is that polight made a video called the white man is NOT the devil, which bugged people out since that is an accepted idea in the conscious movement and polight also started talking ish about the conscious movement for not doing anything for the people and he claims to have a real economic plan involving real estate

seti is the #1 promoter of the white man is the devil/kill the cracker school of thought so everybody took polight's video as an attack on seti

seti tried to ignore it because at first polight was a nobody and seti was kinda famous....on youtube at least, but polight was getting a lot of attention...on youtube at least, and it was getting obvious polight was sneak dissing seti

the other part of the beef is that seti considers himself a student of dr ben and clarke, and ben and clarke did not get along with polight's mentor York (who is in jail for child molestation)

The title for the debate is actually - "Is the white man the devil or are black people there own worst enemy" with Seti supporting the former and Polight the latter

The debate was set up by Saneter, and he is also the camera guy and you can hear him babbling in the background (sohh unprofessional) and he goes off on polight in the end cuz he's old school and he aint tryna hear any of that the white man aint the devil that polight is preaching

Seti kinda went offscript right away by focusing his attacks on York thats why it seems like its messy and a lot of the discussion was really a proxy battle between dr ben and york, Seti also started showing some gay porn which caused a rukus and polight's people stood up to leave which cause more rukus


but they touched on the actual debate subject now and then and overall i enjoyed it lol

That shyt looked like a dusty nikka conference. shyt like this is why I'll never be a part of the conscious movement in any capacity. These just a bunch of lost nikkas arguing for the sake of arguing, but having 0 impact on the community to which they say they're trying to help. Have any of these nikkas done anything actually tangible? Started a business? Opened a non profit? Wrote curriculum for a school? Anything tangible at all?

they do, i know one of them dudes donates moeny to schools and computers to youth centers and whatnot. its just that these nikkas tend to ride the wave of ducktales... any dude who runs with york and uses any of his teachings as fact, is just out of his mind
