A lot of the times the mom doesn't want to give up the kids if she's doing bad. I bet that's the case. Dad was probably like "the kids can stay here but you can't " and moms was like "if I can't stay my kids can't stay". Seen it happen before.

You’re telling me she had ZERO options? I would have preferred she sold ass and mouth. End of the day she is responsible. Kids were under her care. Single mothers have tons of resources. She either did not seriously look into them or she burned bridges.
