I went down the youtube rabbit hole of plane crashes and accidents. All I know is pray before you get near dem planes and when you get on them because there's so many technical things that can go wrong.

Far riskier to get in a 🚗 than to fly on a 🛬 according to probability

Before 2000 the CEOs were engineers and people who helped design the planes and ensured the safety/quality

Ever since then they've gotten these new guys who are all about cutting corners and costs to ensure that shareholders make their bread while the quality/safety of the product has gone down. That should be number 1 at any company, your product. Product, employees, THEN shareholders. Cutting corners and people breaking your neck to make already rich folk wealthier is the problem with so much in this country nowadays. And people who justify it are the worst.
Cutting corners will inevitably cost you once your rep goes down and all the bad press leads to mass boycotts and far fewer ticket sales heavy losses and smaller dividends for the shareholders that they were trying to appease.

The 757 was made from 1981-2004… it’s obvious Delta ain’t pushing the ones from the 90s and 80s duh..

All of their 757a are from 2000-2004 and all of those aircraft came with a warranty on the air frame for 30years… soo delta will be retiring their 757s by the end of this decade

Should have already been retired they are aerospace engineering relics..theyre so costly to operate for all the limitations they offer.

This is more on Delta than Boeing as this is an old aircraft and tires have lifespans and very direct instructions on how they are to be maintained due how pressure they carry and the frequency they bear extreme weight.

No telling what caused this though. Could’ve been a maintenance oversight while servicing or just wear and tear. RIP to the 2 lives lost and prayers for all those affected by this.

Aviation is lowkey a very dangerous job field. Mishaps happen quite often that don’t make the news.
