Every single WM main event since 28 has depended on a part-timer....
28: Rock
29: Rock
30: Batista
31: Brock
32: Triple H
33: Undertaker
34: Brock
35: Rousey
36: Brock or Goldberg
And then beat him at a show on the other side of the world at the same time as Price is Right
hell nawAnd then beat him at a show on the other side of the world at the same time as Price is Right
Rousey wasn’t a part timer. She was ALL in (no pun intended ), wrestled at house shows, Raw, PPVs, etc. She gained my respect with me for being there and having borderline classic matches
Now with Goldberg winning
Vince just can’t get out his own way...Goldberg and Taker are in their late 50’s. I feel bad for Roman cause he is going to have to carry Bill’s old ass and then have to deal with the fans booing him out the building.
The ONLY person that is suppose to beat The Fiend is Roman. The story was RIGHT THERE. The perfect Good vs. Evil story. THE STORY LITERALLY WRITES ITSELF
It’s almost a talent seeing how Vince can fukk up a good thing. Like dead ass, that shyt is a fukking talent. It almost amazes me
Hell no. Like whoever stopped watching isn’t about to jump back on the bandwagon cause a 50 year old beat the hottest guy in the company in a shytty match.I know the talks have been that Roman/Goldberg is a bigger money match for the E to promote on ESPN and that is why they wanted to go this route. I would want to know from where that actual money would be coming from over a Roman/Fiend title match.
The hardcore fans already have booked flights/accommodations and purchased WM tickets, regardless of the card. Is there that many casuals/old wrasstlin' watchers that would suddenly subscribe/buy a ticket just because it's Goldberg in the title match now? Enough to move the needle? Curious to know.
