Aye, I still say Wilder won that first fight with Fury, divine intervention or some super natural shyt saved Fury in that 12th round.

Wilder is still in the top tier. But u are right, the leverage is not with Wilder without that WBC title and not until he can beat Fury. Fury will forever loom over his legacy. Until he can figure out a way to put Fury down for good, AJ vs. Wilder will never have that luster until that happens.
The luster was gone when Joshua lost last year.

Nah..it was a rematch to a draw..he actually lost his title. The rematch for that...
Judges gifted Wilder with a draw. Everybody saw Wilder get outclassed. Even Wilder knew he lost that fight that is why he was so happy when it was announced as a draw :mjlol: I don't ever remember seeing a fighter happy to get a draw :russ:

That makes a lot of sense...

Widler vs Ruiz

Fury vs Joshua

Winners face eachother, Whyte May have to get his shot first but after that Wilder vs Ruiz winner.

I love Wilder vs Ruiz as the pre-fight for Wilder Joshua winner. Wilder has to prove he can face and beat a heavy, boxer-puncher and adapt his boxing skills... Ruiz has to come in motivated, and interested and show he wants it. There is a great story there - both American fighters (Mexican angle for Ruiz), people will be intrigued by it and both camps will think they can win. Either man loses, sadly that may be the chance of big time fights gone for either.

I agree, either Wilder or Ruiz would gain more respect back. I think that would be very fair, it would be a way some of the best can fight too, in an elimination style kind of format. That sounds fair, I’d like that a lot, AJ vs Fury, then winner vs Whyte, then the winner fights the winner of Wilder vs Ruiz, all the fights would be big and have high stakes. That sounds too good to be true and they probably won’t do it but it would make a lot of sense and make a lot of high level fights happen.

Him and Broner (not taking that Roc Nation deal) fumbled the fukking bag something SERIOUS. No More 60/40 split even if he beats Fury then fights AJ....70/30 AT BEST.

Nah Broner did good not taking that Roc Nation deal. He prolly get paid better than most PBC nikkas and there was never no super fight for Broner to take where he would have made 120 mil. He got the Pac fight after having a draw with a nikka that Pac washed years earlier.

Wilder fukked up all on his own with that one. nikkas convinced him that 120 mil was Floyd training camp money. Dude really thought he was being looked out for. He really bought into his hype think he would make 300 mil from a Joshua fight on some marinating shyt. fukking backfired.

@2 Up 2 Down

I'll add. If you've ever been to a fight in person.....you'll see Mexicans come in droves to support Canelo. It's unreal. Puerto Ricans love Cotto. Filipinos love Pacquiao. shyt, Asians who aren't even of Filipino descent love Pacquiao. Do you remember how many white people from the UK came to see Ricky Hatton against Floyd Mayweather???? shyt last night, Tyson Fury had the crowd behind him.

This is boxing. Tribalism makes this sport what it is.

And yet when it comes to black fighters, you'll still have some black people who will just be like nah, I'm not fukking with the black fighter. The same pride and loyalty for our own just isn't there as a whole so I can get why @Waterproof would be disgusted. I get it.
Exactly. Morons like @theruler09 act as if its only us bringing up race. SMH
