just saw the fight. reading these comments. its funny how boxing is so bad these days, Heavyweights in particular that we are starving for something to hype up and talk about. people saying Wilder was fake champ....all these dudes on the same level. HW division pure trash. these dudes making this kinda bread because they are the best of what the division has to offer and thats sad. Wilder got exposed? How? He looks the exact same way he always does, no balance, pulling straight out with head up. headhunting. no body work. poor jabbing. I said it many times before, Wilder is just a freak athlete. he basically has out-athleticised his opponents. he lived off his athleticism just like RJJ and Zab. the difference is, those guys are much more skilled than Wilder. he just been able to get away with it because the division stinks. its important not to overrate Fury here. Wilder was basically a dead man after the 3rd round. not sure what happened, if it was the shot or his stamina was just :flabbynsick: for this fight but he was shot by the time he got to the 4th round. the fact that Fury couldnt take him out was more an indictment of Fury.

I definitely wouldnt say Wilder is finished or he is trash. He can come back and still KTFO somebody. He is still the best puncher/athlete, he just cant box, but again, who didnt know this?

you dont know what you will get with these guys. anyone can beat anyone. Fury just a big mf with solid boxing skill. Wilder is freak athlete. AJ is great athlete and good boxer but a mental midget. Ruiz has great hand speed and power but is a lazy tub of lard. let yall tell it, this was some masterclass in boxing. this is the lowest the division has probably ever been in terms of real talent. division was better when the Klitschkos were ruling it. much better. and way better before that with Lennox and so on. you cant depend on any of these guys and the Americans are the worst. you got guys like Jarell Miller that cant even take advantage of this gravy train and throwing away millions because he's too busy doping. :snoop:

Also i just want to say re: Wilder i actually used to be a big fan of his. There was a period around 2016-17 where he was virtually unknown everywhere(mainstream wise) despite having had dozens of fights and he saw heavyweight boxing in the uk was on the comeup, so he came over here and did quite a lot of tv with sky sports, he came across as a really humble and good guy. He even commentated on the Joshua/Klitschko fight and did a great job, was complimentary of Joshua. Became a fan of his. But somewhere after that he went in to shouty mode and started all the double talk and ducking talk(accusing AJ when he clearly wasn't) and sorta bought his own hype.

Also I know about his commentary on the AJ/Klit fight because i re watched the fight just last week, and let me tell you something, Klitschko came in to that ring with the exact same tactics as Fury did with Wilder last night, walk him down and impose your will. That's why AJ being disrespected like he is in here is disgraceful. That Wlad from that fight would have murdered Wilder, and AJ said fukk it and went to war with him and came out on top. He is another level of boxer to Wilder and is only getting better and learning from his mistakes, something which Wilder has never done. IMO AJ's Ruiz rematch was maybe his best and most telling performance, it proved he can adjust and stick to a gameplan, it showed how good a boxer he is(obviously Fury is better still).

That said i do hope Wilder can come back because the division needs him. Whatever you say about his skills(you can say a lot) he's a warrior, hope this fight hasn't taken away too much from him.

Got around to watching the fight.

Punch was more so on the side of the head then back of the head, it landed cuz wilder kept turning his head and that punch landed in the same location all through the fight.

Tbh that punch always lands in fights.

Fury didn’t just beat wilder but he exposed him, don’t be at the end of wilder punches and back him up. We will see if anyone does this and if they are successful.

No way wilder beats fury unless of course he lands that punch but it’s looking highly unlikely.

I wonder if wilder will ever be the same, he took one of those beatings, it wasn’t even a competitive beating like broner had.

He will never be the same because his whole gimmick was he was undefeated and unbeatable.

Facts, Wilder bought into his own hype and it led to what happened.

Yeah that’s gonna be tough for him

That whole aura of being a killer and unstoppable is gone. He was literally scared of Fury for most of that fight. Even when Ortiz was beating him, Wilder never seemed helpless like this.

But the division is trash so we might never see another boxer press him like that again.

We will. even Usyk will press him, he will keep hitting him then move away, he could win widely on points, some chance of a stoppage also. Usyk is a great boxer, he could cause Wilder issues.

If they have a 3rd fight wilder cant even trash talk as much as he did for this fight :mjlol:

No knockdowns from wilder but "pillow fisted" Fury knocked Wilder down and got the cleary victory :francis:

That's the thing, how would they build this shyt now? How will he do all the press? He's been humiliated, all that tough talk which was his style and false bravado is gone now. What can he say? He lost twice now. If they box again the numbers may not be as good, people will think more of the same. Might be worth going a different route.

Fury is going to clearly be in his head for the 3rd fight.

He got destroyed in this... no amount of excuses can be made for this type of one sided asswhipping... especially when Wilder knew he lost the first one too (look at his body language and how happy he was to have received a draw).

Wilder looked shook af throughout the entire fight... and it can potentially be worse the next one

that's why I'm saying i dont know if Wilder is going to be so quick to hop into a rematch. Smart thing would be to take time off and work on your craft but at 35... time is running out. Thats shyt he should've did at 30. If he takes a rematch right away and loses like this again
