Got around to watching the fight.

Punch was more so on the side of the head then back of the head, it landed cuz wilder kept turning his head and that punch landed in the same location all through the fight.

Tbh that punch always lands in fights.

Fury didn’t just beat wilder but he exposed him, don’t be at the end of wilder punches and back him up. We will see if anyone does this and if they are successful.

No way wilder beats fury unless of course he lands that punch but it’s looking highly unlikely.

I wonder if wilder will ever be the same, he took one of those beatings, it wasn’t even a competitive beating like broner had.

The Truth
You're both right.
Honestly I don’t think so

Nobody had Fury winning this fight really... especially not by knockout.

What fight against tomato cans has Wilder ever been the underdog in? People actually thought Fury was a tomato can in both fights... even white people.

If white people and other races wanted to see him lose so bad they sure didn’t act like it...

Wilder doesn’t get as much love in his own country because he’s a black American fighter and that’s true... but it was also because he couldn’t box and didn’t really fight anybody outside of Ortiz.

The love he did receive was because of his KO’s of bums. But he didn’t put on magical performances like Tyson, Ali, etc. he would be losing most of his fights too then get lucky with one punch... that’s it.

Homie trying to make him a racial martyr or something... like he was the next Ali or even received as much hate as Floyd.

The hate he received was because he was an American boxer who couldn’t box and career was coddled.

Wilder himself was rooting against Aj bro, Wilder himself said he is better than Mike while a white guy Tyson Fury was named after him and has shown nothing but respect to the legend.

Most people on here have been against Aj because of there love for Wilder.
EXACTLY!!!!!

bet them same nikkas won’t read this though

Nope. Wilder received a lot hate. Some of it was due to some seeing him as a fake champion, but the hate was also due to racist factors, at least in the US. A lot of people jumped into the Wilder hate bandwagon because they wanted to see a "big" black US boxer fail, because they could not have that with Mayweather.

I'm not putting the racist angle on Fury tho. He had nothing to do with it. This is more of an internal US dynamic.

Show me :russ:

white Americans are always racist but that shyt wasn’t extreme at all... mainly because Wilder really only fought and knocked out foreign cats or black fighters himself.

A lot just weren’t checking for Wilder like that and didn’t none of them have Fury winning this :mjlol:

The boxer always does better in the rematch so I’m surprised by the poll.

I was thinking fury saying he was going for the ko was just mind games but what lee said about being closer u won’t be at the end of wilder punches makes me think that fury really is going to do that so idk who’s gonna win.

If fury boxes he wins easy if he decides to fight close and go for the ko then idk what to expect. Wilder ko wouldn’t surprise me in this case but fury pulling something off wouldn’t either.

I think I was pretty close to the outcome.

Not to be the white uk guy out here trying to tell you how to think but...Some of you need to step back and realise the view point you've been looking at this fight with is one created by the echo chamber you exist in, on here, social media etc. The race aspect of this fight is bizarre to me because as someone who naturally mostly seen UK build up, race was just an absolute non-factor. Yes we still have widespread institutional racism as well as some blatant racism here, no doubt, our prime minister is a racist for god sake, but in terms of boxing generally and this fight, it's just not even a consideration anyone even made or thought to articulate.

So seeing here, things like whitlock bringing it up to fury on TV, us based boxing youtubers mentioning it, it takes you aback, just as it did Fury on tv when whitlock asked him. Now look i won't insult you by pretending to understand every nuance of racism in the us and certainly won't claim to fully understand the experience of it(just class hate for me mostly thaknfully). and i just want you to all know that this is only the black guy losing to the white guy for you, in the UK this is a brit beating an american, just as it would have been had Joshua went to the US and beat Wilder.

UK boxing itself is too big and too independent now to attach itself to american narratives so any 'great white hope' stuff is purely american and honestly white americans who celebrate fury's win from that aspect need to kill themselves. This is a UK W not a white W.

Wilder will be fine, he'll bounce back. Nothing from last night was exposed that wasn't already known by those who watch and know boxing.

None of these HW fighters are a level above the rest. They can all beat each other.

Congrats to Fury though. He's the man of the division, and it can't be argued anymore. Fury vs Femi should be a good fight

Who said it was extreme? I clearly said some of the hate Wilder received from the american public was due to racism and your answer is ": it wasn't extreme". :stopitslime:

This shyt has nothing to do with Futy, as I said.

The racial dynamic of the US tends to attach itself to everything, even things that got nothing to do with it. It's crazy.

He had that spooked look all fight

He was shook when he saw Fury was actually gonna go at him. I've been telling people they strategically have been avoiding punchers cause they know what happened to him in the amateurs and in his early pro days. He was shook, I wanna see him continue to fight punchers, just improve instead of keep ducking.
