Fight went on for too long. Wilder couldn't even fight back properly. Better to take the L tonight and come back stronger.

They really should have stopped it as soon as Wilder's eardrum burst and he started showing signs of a broken rib. Nothing good was going to come after that.

This could have gotten so, so ugly if Wilder's corner didn't get a clue and throw in the towel there. As it is, Wilder's done fighting for at least a year, and is probably never going to be the same after this.

No he's not, Ortiz has never proved anything in the pro's and his record of opponents is awful. This is the first elite fighter Wilder fought and he got dominated and destroyed, 2 losses now, 1 was against a terrible out of shape Fury, this Fury wasn't even in perfect shape but he was a bit better. That shyt wasn't close, he got destroyed. This is what happens when you duck people, he ducked that deal for undisputed and this is what he's got. He may get it back if he rematches, he always has a chance with his power, but he's been humiliated and humbled here, which was much needed.

All part of the strategy, used his weight to lean on him in the clinch and grapple with him so he wouldn't have the stamina to defend himself
Fury is a great strategist. He’s the type of guy you have to get dirty with. He was catching wilder with all types of shots in the clinch out of the refs eye. Hell of a trickster.
